It’s fair to say that television is considered the first choice for advertising - but research by the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) has shown that promotional products can outperform traditional TV advertising - offering better engagement and brand recognition.
Studies have found that promotional products were twice as likely to result in a positive attitude towards the advertisement itself, in fact, promotional products can boost response rates by as much as 75%! Further more, combining promotional gifts with a sales letter in direct mailings can increase response rates by as much as 50%. People also felt that corporate gifts were more pleasant, more likeable and create a better impression than both TV and print advertising combined.
